Here's what you need to know

Ascensus and Newport joined to form one company with a shared mission to help more people achieve a secure financial future.

On April 25, 2025, your company's retirement plan and your retirement account will move to the Ascensus recordkeeping platform. We look forward to supporting you as you continue to save for retirement.

Many of the experiences and features you value today will remain the same. For instance:

  • The username and password that you use to log into your account today will still work after your account moves to Ascensus.
  • The web experience you’re used to with Newport will also be very similar once your account moves to Ascensus. You’ll see additional enhancements to the experience over time, such as the incorporation of the Ascensus brand.

Your account information will transfer to Ascensus beginning on April 25, 2025. Your personal data will always be safe and secure. Once your retirement plan account has moved, we recommend you bookmark the new employee website address so you can easily access your account. As a reminder, the website username and password that you use today will still work.

On the new recordkeeping platform, all deferral and investment elections must be in whole percentages. If you currently have a fractional percentage or dollar amount for your deferral or investment elections, please log in to your employee website and update your elections to a whole percentage or dollar amount no later than 1:00 p.m. ET, April 22, 2025. Otherwise, elections will be updated on your behalf. Learn more here.

Yes. In April, as we prepare to securely move your account to Ascensus, there will be a short period of time during which you cannot request transactions. A timeline with full details will be shared well ahead of your plan’s move.
